Madhu Sudan Gautam 

Mr. Gautam has pursued Masters in Economics and Masters in Development Studies. His research interest focuses on economic impacts of natural disasters. He has broad experience in DRR and environmental policy assessment, impact evaluation, institutional mapping, research and findings of which have been disseminated. He is an expert in quantitative and qualitative analysis and brings experience of evaluation and community level studies in Nepal. He is actively involved in project development, management and supervision. Mr. Gautam has worked as a consultant and lead researcher for a number of governmental and non-governmental agencies related encompassing sectors such as agriculture, governance, education, climate change, and disaster risk reduction.


Manish Jarga Magar (Senior Researcher)

Mr. Manish has completed his Master in Arts and Social Sciences with Population, Gender and Development Program. He has worked as an active researcher in different projects. He has more than 10 years of working experience in peace building, education, health and livelihood sectors in bilateral organizations, INGOs and NGOs. He has working experience of has worked in JICA-COMCAP peace building project, World Vision International as Monitoring, Evaluation Accountability and Learning Coordinator, Team leader in Community Development Programme Sindhuli (CDPS), Program Coordinator in National Entrepreneurship Development Center Nepal (NEDC/N), Lalitpur, Program Manager in Society for Participatory Cultural Education (SPACE) Nepal. He has been associated with many INGOs and NGOs and has good experience working with government organisations.

His main area of interest is working  in research. He has led different evaluation, assessment works as assigned by different INGOs like  OXFAM, Plan International Nepal, Water Alliance International and many others. He is professional in research design, proposal writing, report writing and data analysis through Advance MS Excel, SPSS and STATA.

Sabita Shrestha (Research Assistant)

Ms. Sabita has completed her Bachelors in environmental science from Tribhuwan University.She had volunteered in many organisations for more than two years in the sector of WASH, Climate change, sustainable development and capacity development.She is an avid learner and enthusiastic in conducting research work and seek a career path with opportunities for capacity building and personal development. She has great interest in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate change adaptation.

Simran Adhikari (Research Assistant)

Ms. Simran has completed her Bachelors of Social Science from Kathmandu University. She had volunteered in many organisations also in the sector of Hearing Disability. She is an avid learner and passionate in conducting research work and seek a career path with opportunities for capacity building and personal development. She is expertise in using social survey research tools, KII, FGD, baseline survey, social impact assessment, project analysis, social mapping, project cycle management and logical framework. She has great interest in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), child protection, and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA).
